Do you have memories that stretch back through the years on your smart phone? Nowadays, it’s normal for all of us to able to access storage either on the cloud or in our phones. What places or faces do you find revisiting?

Arcella, Italy. A big part of my life for many months stretched over years were mornings that began here, at Cafe Arcella. Writing and designing books, editing phots; for a few hours every day this was my place.

Padua, Italy. This man, an immigrant I assume from an Indian country, was a fixture on the streets of Padua. He wove and then sold flower arrangements out of straw. I wonder if he is still there.

Venice International Airport, Italy. Was I coming back or going someplace?

Boise, Idaho. Another business in later years that bites the dust. How quickly we revolutionize industries.

Padua, Italy. I must have been playing around in some app to create this photograph.

Padua, Italy

Salvador, Brazil

Denver, Colorado. Today I was buying a used car, the price inflated because of covid. The chain around my neck, is how I now see it. One of the reasons I don’t want to live in the USA is the ridiculous need for a car, and all the monthly and yearly financial requirements that chain you to it.

On the beach in Da Nang, Vietnam

I don’t know where or when this photo was taken, but it showed up in my February 3 file. I like the mood of it.
